Visual Pun
In Italian ‘puntigilo’ means “a fine point” hence a verbal quibble and is most likely the source of the English “punctilious.” A pun is defined by Webster as "the humorous use of a word, or of words which are formed or sounded alike but have different meanings, in such a way as to play on two or more of the possible applications; a play on words."

Texture Photography
Texture photography is a way of drawing the viewer’s attention to the photo. Photographs that use this technique create an impact with different textures. If used correctly the effect of the texture can be demanding, it can bring out the colors, a scenery, the movement by lines. There are the major categories of texture photography. Details on the surface, the texture is not the most important with drama but it’s a component, and the relationship between the textures is important. Contrast, curves, and patterns are aspects of the photo, which help compose the photo. It helps the detail come out more and it makes a difference in the photo.

Negative Space Photography
Negative space is the area that is not occupied by objects between them or around them or even empty areas inside them. Imagine a doughnut drawn on a canvas. The hole and the area outside the doughnut is negative space. Or a wrought iron scroll work the holes are the negative space inside the object. Negative space helps to define the objects and provide a backdrop for them. The ratio between objects and negative space help create interest and contrast. When composing a piece of artwork, we generally work with three elements: the frame, the positive space, and the negative space (also called white space). The frame is the bounding size of the artwork, the positive space is the subject, and the negative space is the empty space around the subject. The three images below will give you a basic understanding of this principle. In a two-tone, black-and-white image, a subject is normally depicted in black and the space around it is left blank (white), thereby forming a silhouette of the subject. However, reversing the tones so that the space around the subject is printed black and the subject itself is left blank causes the negative space to be apparent as it forms shapes around the subject, called figure-ground reversal.
Commercial Photography
Commercial photography is used to promote or sell a product or service. For example in product placement, merchandising. Or in corporate brochures and leaflets, cafe menus and restaurants. Commercial photographs focus on the design of the product or the use of it. The photographer is paid for the photos he has taken. Many people take photos for self-fulfillment or for commercial purposes. Photos may be taken of a product a business is trying to sell, such as a car or a piece of furniture. Some businesses, like sports teams or real estate firms, may need aerial photography to show their stadium or property in an attractive way. Architectural photography may be needed by a commercial builder or architect. Photographs of food are seen everywhere from fast food menus to ads in culinary magazines. Whether it’s for a menu to enhance to food or for the latest fashion designs it can be used in many ways to promote, or sell products. Commercial photography involves taking pictures for commercial use.
Cubism
Cubism was a truly revolutionary style of modern art developed by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque’s. It was the first style of abstract art which evolved at the beginning of the 20th century in response to a world that was changing with unprecedented speed. Cubism was an attempt by artists to revitalize the tired traditions of Western art which they believed had run their course. The Cubists challenged conventional forms of representation, such as perspective, which had been the rule since the Renaissance. Their aim was to develop a new way of seeing which reflected the modern age. Cubism was invented around 1907 in Paris by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Cubism was the first abstract style of modern art. A Cubist painting ignores the traditions of perspective drawing and shows you many views of a subject at one time. The Cubists introduced collage into painting. The Cubists were influenced by art from other cultures, particularly African masks.

Silhouette
A silhouette is the image of a person, an object or scene represented as a solid shape of a single color, usually black, its edges matching the outline of the subject. The interior of a silhouette is basically featureless, and the whole is typically presented on a light background, usually white or none at all. The silhouette differs from an outline which depicts the edge of an object in a linear form, while a silhouette appears as a solid shape. Silhouette images may be created in any visual artistic media. Cutting portraits, generally in profile, from black card became popular in the mid-18th century, though the term “silhouette” was seldom used until the early decades of the 19th century, and the tradition has continued under this name into the 21st century.
